VIDEO PRODUCTION + DOCUMENTARIES


As an assistant producer at BBC Studios Raquel worked as an assistant producer on one of the longest-running science series, The Sky at Night.
Before, she worked at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), for two years. Filming and editing video content for STFC social media channels and other public-facing platforms and offering training in video skills to scientists and communications staff.
And on completing her MSc Science Communication, Raquel went on to work as a researcher on factual documentaries at Windfall Films & Argonon and was credited on several episodes of the series Unearthed III which broadcasted internationally and on Discovery US. (As well as Quantum Riddle, broadcast by PBS/NOVA and on BBC 4.)



PUBLICATIONS
ABER PHYSICS was a magazine created by Raquel Taylor to provide a platform for student to practice science Journalism and showcase the great work going on in the Aberystwyth University Physics department.
As founder, Raquel handled content creation, digital design and contributor management.
In 2017, Raquel also became Magazine Editor of I,Science, a longstanding science magazine at Imperial College London.
